This change allows creating kernfs files and directories with arbitrary uid/gid instead of always using GLOBAL_ROOT_UID/GID by extending kernfs_create_dir_ns() and kernfs_create_file_ns() with uid/gid arguments. The "simple" kernfs_create_file() and kernfs_create_dir() are left alone and always create objects belonging to the global root. When creating symlinks ownership (uid/gid) is taken from the target kernfs object. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
