Since I have triggered the ASSERT() on the delayed iput too many times, now is the time to add some extra debug warnings for delayed iput. All delayed iputs should be queued after all ordered extents finish their IO and all involved workqueues are flushed. Thus after the btrfs_run_delayed_iputs() inside close_ctree(), there should be no more delayed puts added. So introduce a new BTRFS_FS_STATE_NO_DELAYED_IPUT, set after the above mentioned timing. And all btrfs_add_delayed_iput() will check that flag and give a WARN_ON_ONCE(). Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
