platform/x86:intel/pmc: Create Intel PMC SSRAM Telemetry driver
Convert ssram device related functionalities to a new driver named Intel
PMC SSRAM Telemetry driver. Modify PMC Core driver to use API exported by
the driver to discover and achieve devid and PWRMBASE address information
for each available PMC. PMC Core driver needs to get PCI device when
reading from telemetry regions.

The new SSRAM driver binds to the SSRAM device and provides the following
functionalities:
1. Look for and register telemetry regions available in SSRAM device.
2. Provide devid and PWRMBASE address information for the corresponding
   PMCs.

platform/x86:intel/vsec: Change return type of intel_vsec_register
Change return type of intel_vsec_register() to int. The current
implementation does not indicate if the register fail or not.
Change to return error code if it fails or if INTEL_VSEC config
is not set. This is a preparation step to introduce a new SSRAM
Telemetry driver that will be using this API.

platform/x86: Introduce dasharo-acpi platform driver
Introduce a driver for devices running Dasharo firmware. The driver
supports thermal monitoring using a new ACPI interface in Dasharo. The
initial version supports monitoring fan speeds, fan PWM duty cycles and
system temperatures as well as determining which specific interfaces are
implemented by firmware.

It has been tested on a NovaCustom laptop running pre-release Dasharo
firmware, which implements fan and thermal monitoring for the CPU and
the discrete GPU, if present.

platform/x86: asus-wmi: Fix wlan_ctrl_by_user detection
The wlan_ctrl_by_user detection was introduced by commit a50bd128f2
("asus-wmi: record wlan status while controlled by userapp").

Quoting from that commit's commit message:

"""
When you call WMIMethod(DSTS, 0x00010011) to get WLAN status, it may return

(1) 0x00050001 (On)
(2) 0x00050000 (Off)
(3) 0x00030001 (On)
(4) 0x00030000 (Off)
(5) 0x00000002 (Unknown)

(1), (2) means that the model has hardware GPIO for WLAN, you can call
WMIMethod(DEVS, 0x00010011, 1 or 0) to turn WLAN on/off.
(3), (4) means that the model doesn’t have hardware GPIO, you need to use
API or driver library to turn WLAN on/off, and call
WMIMethod(DEVS, 0x00010012, 1 or 0) to set WLAN LED status.
After you set WLAN LED status, you can see the WLAN status is changed with
WMIMethod(DSTS, 0x00010011). Because the status is recorded lastly
(ex: Windows), you can use it for synchronization.
(5) means that the model doesn’t have WLAN device.

WLAN is the ONLY special case with upper rule.
"""

The wlan_ctrl_by_user flag should be set on 0x0003000? ((3), (4) above)
return values, but the flag mistakenly also gets set on laptops with
0x0005000? ((1), (2)) return values. This is causing rfkill problems on
laptops where 0x0005000? is returned.

Fix the check to only set the wlan_ctrl_by_user flag for 0x0003000?
return values.

platform/x86/amd/pmc: Declare quirk_spurious_8042 for MECHREVO Wujie 14XA (GX4HRXL)
MECHREVO Wujie 14XA (GX4HRXL) wakes up immediately after s2idle entry.
This happens regardless of whether the laptop is plugged into AC power,
or whether any peripheral is plugged into the laptop.

Similar to commit a55bdad5df ("platform/x86/amd/pmc: Disable keyboard
wakeup on AMD Framework 13"), the MECHREVO Wujie 14XA wakes up almost
instantly after s2idle suspend entry (IRQ1 is the keyboard):

2025-04-18 17:23:57,588 DEBUG: PM: Triggering wakeup from IRQ 9
2025-04-18 17:23:57,588 DEBUG: PM: Triggering wakeup from IRQ 1

Add this model to the spurious_8042 quirk to workaround this.

This patch does not affect the wake-up function of the built-in keyboard.
Because the firmware of this machine adds an insurance for keyboard
wake-up events, as it always triggers an additional IRQ 9 to wake up the
system.

To facilitate the relocation of rdtsc{,_ordered}() from <asm/msr.h>

Currently, the driver does not adhere to the sysfs-class-hwmon

Therefore, change the sysfs API to reflect this and enable pwm on 2.

As we are breaking the ABI for this driver, rename oxpec to oxp_ec,

However, when we engage turbo takeover, the turbo led remains on its

to allow userspace to turn it off once engaging turbo takeover and then
control it as they wish.

2024 OneXPlayer devices, other than the X1s, do not have a turbo LED.

platform/x86: int3472: Add handshake pin support
New Intel Meteor Lake based laptops with IPU6 cameras have a new type 0x12
pin defined in the INT3472 sensor companion device which describes
the sensor's GPIOs.

This pin is primarily used on designs with a Lattice FPGA chip which is
capable of running the sensor independently of the main CPU for features
like presence detection. This pin needs to be driven high to make the FPGA
run the power-on sequence of the sensor. After driving the pin high,
the FPGA "firmware" needs 25ms to complete the power-on sequence.

Add support for this modelling the handshake pin as a GPIO driven "dvdd"
regulator with a 25 ms enable time. This model was chosen because:

1. Sensor chips don't have a handshake pin, so we need to abstract this
in some way which does not require modification to the sensor drivers,
sensor drivers using the bulk-regulator API to get avdd + vddio + dvdd
is normal. So this will work to get the right value set to the handshake
pin without requiring sensor driver modifications.

2. Sensors typically wait only a small time for the sensor to power-on
after de-asserting reset. Not the 25ms the Lattice chip requires.
Using the regulator framework's enable_time allows hiding the need for
this delay from the sensor drivers.

Rework the discrete quirk handling to use a quirks struct which is
pointed to by a dmi_system_id table, rather then having a dmi_system_id
table per type of quirk.

This is a preparation patch for adding support for multiple regulators,

platform/x86/intel-uncore-freq: Fix missing uncore sysfs during CPU hotplug
In certain situations, the sysfs for uncore may not be present when all
CPUs in a package are offlined and then brought back online after boot.

This issue can occur if there is an error in adding the sysfs entry due
to a memory allocation failure. Retrying to bring the CPUs online will
not resolve the issue, as the uncore_cpu_mask is already set for the
package before the failure condition occurs.

This issue does not occur if the failure happens during module
initialization, as the module will fail to load in the event of any
error.

To address this, ensure that the uncore_cpu_mask is not set until the
successful return of uncore_freq_add_entry().

platform/x86/amd: pmc: Require at least 2.5 seconds between HW sleep cycles
When an APU exits HW sleep with no active wake sources the Linux kernel will
rapidly assert that the APU can enter back into HW sleep. This happens in a
few ms. Contrasting this to Windows, Windows can take 10s of seconds to
enter back into the resiliency phase for Modern Standby.

For some situations this can be problematic because it can cause leakage
from VDDCR_SOC to VDD_MISC and force VDD_MISC outside of the electrical
design guide specifications. On some designs this will trip the over
voltage protection feature (OVP) of the voltage regulator module, but it
could cause APU damage as well.

To prevent this risk, add an explicit sleep call so that future attempts
to enter into HW sleep will have enough time to settle. This will occur
while the screen is dark and only on cases that the APU should enter HW
sleep again, so it shouldn't be noticeable to any user.

platform/x86: msi-wmi-platform: Workaround a ACPI firmware bug
The ACPI byte code inside the ACPI control method responsible for
handling the WMI method calls uses a global buffer for constructing
the return value, yet the ACPI control method itself is not marked
as "Serialized".
This means that calling WMI methods on this WMI device is not
thread-safe, as concurrent WMI method calls will corrupt the global
buffer.

Fix this by serializing the WMI method calls using a mutex.

All models with the "AWCC" WMAX device support a way of manually

The PWM duty cycle of a fan can't be controlled directly. Instead the

following empirically discovered, approximate behavior over the PWM
value:

	pwm = pwm_base + (fan_boost / 255) * (pwm_max - pwm_base)

Where the pwm_base is the locked PWM value controlled by the FW and
fan_boost is a value between 0 and 255.

platform/x86: ISST: Correct command storage data length
After resume/online turbo limit ratio (TRL) is restored partially if
the admin explicitly changed TRL from user space.

A hash table is used to store SST mail box and MSR settings when modified
to restore those settings after resume or online. This uses a struct
isst_cmd field "data" to store these settings. This is a 64 bit field.
But isst_store_new_cmd() is only assigning as u32. This results in
truncation of 32 bits.

Change the argument to u64 from u32.

platform/x86: thinkpad_acpi: disable ACPI fan access for T495* and E560
T495, T495s, and E560 laptops have the FANG+FANW ACPI methods
(therefore fang_handle and fanw_handle are not NULL) but they do not
actually work, which results in a "No such device or address" error.
The DSDT table code for the FANG+FANW methods doesn't seem to do
anything special regarding the fan being secondary. The bug was
introduced in commit 57d0557dfa ("platform/x86: thinkpad_acpi: Add
Thinkpad Edge E531 fan support"), which added a new fan control method
via the FANG+FANW ACPI methods.

Add a quirk for T495, T495s, and E560 to avoid the FANG+FANW methods.
Fan access and control is restored after forcing the legacy non-ACPI
fan control method by setting both fang_handle and fanw_handle to NULL.

platform/x86: thinkpad_acpi: Fix NULL pointer dereferences while probing
Some subdrivers make use of the global reference tpacpi_pdev during
initialization, which is called from the platform driver's probe.
However, after the commit 38b9ab80db ("platform/x86: thinkpad_acpi:
Move subdriver initialization to tpacpi_pdriver's probe.") this
variable is only properly initialized *after* probing and this can
result in a NULL pointer dereference.

In order to fix this without reverting the commit, register the platform
bundle in two steps, first create and initialize tpacpi_pdev, then
register the driver synchronously with platform_driver_probe(). This way
the benefits of commit 38b9ab80db are preserved.

Additionally, the commit 43fc63a1e8 ("platform/x86: thinkpad_acpi:
Move HWMON initialization to tpacpi_hwmon_pdriver's probe") introduced
a similar problem, however tpacpi_sensors_pdev is only used once inside
the probe, so replace the global reference with the one given by the
probe.

platform: cznic: turris-omnia-mcu: Add support for digital message signing with HW private key
Add support for digital message signing with the private key stored in
the MCU. Turris Omnia boards with MKL MCUs have a NIST256p ECDSA private
key generated and burned into MCU's flash when manufactured. The private
key is not readable from the MCU, but MCU allows for signing messages
with it and retrieving the public key.

This is exposed to userspace via the keyctl API.

In userspace, the user can look at /proc/keys or list the keyring:

  $ cat /proc/keys
  0a3b7cd3 ... keyring .turris-signing-keys: 1
  3caf0b1a ... turris-om Turris Omnia SN 0000000A1000023 MCU ECDSA k...

  $ keyctl rlist %:.turris-signing-keys
  1018104602

To get the public key:

  $ keyctl read 1018104602
33 bytes of data in key:
  025d9108 1fb538ae 8435c88b b4379171 d6b158a9 55751b91 1d23e6a9 d017f4b2

To sign a message:

  $ dd if=/dev/urandom of=msg_to_sign bs=32 count=1
  $ keyctl pkey_sign 1018104602 0 msg_to_sign >signature

platform: cznic: Add keyctl helpers for Turris platform
Some Turris devices support signing messages with a per-device unique
asymmetric key that was created on the device at manufacture time.

Add helper module that helps to expose this ability via the keyctl()
syscall.

A device-specific driver can register a signing key by calling
devm_turris_signing_key_create().

Both the `.turris-signing-keys` keyring and the signing key are created
with only the VIEW, READ and SEARCH permissions for userspace - it is
impossible to link / unlink / move them, set their attributes, or unlink

drm/bridge: Add encoder parameter to drm_bridge_funcs.attach
The drm_bridge structure contains an encoder pointer that is widely used
by bridge drivers. This pattern is largely documented as deprecated in
other KMS entities for atomic drivers.

However, one of the main use of that pointer is done in attach to just
call drm_bridge_attach on the next bridge to add it to the bridge list.
While this dereferences the bridge->encoder pointer, it's effectively
the same encoder the bridge was being attached to.

We can make it more explicit by adding the encoder the bridge is
attached to to the list of attach parameters. This also removes the need
to dereference bridge->encoder in most drivers.

cd9beb9eb3 platform/chrome: cros_ec_lpc: prepare for hw_protection_shutdown removal
In the general case, a driver doesn't know which of system shutdown or
reboot is the better action to take to protect hardware in an emergency
situation. For this reason, hw_protection_shutdown is going to be removed
in favor of hw_protection_trigger, which defaults to shutdown, but may be
configured at kernel runtime to be a reboot instead.

The ChromeOS EC situation is different as we do know that shutdown is the
correct action as the EC is programmed to force reset after the short
period, thus replace hw_protection_shutdown with __hw_protection_trigger
with HWPROT_ACT_SHUTDOWN as argument to maintain the same behavior.

No functional change.

5b1122fc49
platform/x86/amd/pmf: fix cleanup in amd_pmf_init_smart_pc()
There are a few problems in this code:

First, if amd_pmf_tee_init() fails then the function returns directly
instead of cleaning up. We cannot simply do a "goto error;" because
the amd_pmf_tee_init() cleanup calls tee_shm_free(dev->fw_shm_pool);
and amd_pmf_tee_deinit() calls it as well leading to a double free.
I have re-written this code to use an unwind ladder to free the
allocations.

Second, if amd_pmf_start_policy_engine() fails on every iteration though
the loop then the code calls amd_pmf_tee_deinit() twice which is also a
double free. Call amd_pmf_tee_deinit() inside the loop for each failed
iteration. Also on that path the error codes are not necessarily
negative kernel error codes. Set the error code to -EINVAL.

There is a very subtle third bug which is that if the call to
input_register_device() in amd_pmf_register_input_device() fails then
we call input_unregister_device() on an input device that wasn't
registered. This will lead to a reference counting underflow
because of the device_del(&dev->dev) in __input_unregister_device().
It's unlikely that anyone would ever hit this bug in real life.
